The new “what did you do to your Z today” (with off topic replies) XXXVIII

After work. I stop to get some corn for our vacation. So I stopped at a farmers road side stand. A couple of feet away from a newer silver Porsche 911 Turbo S.

I got out and walked over the corn section. Got 2 dozen. As I was putting the corn into the bags. I see a guy out of the corner of my eye staring at my Z. Ha walks over to it and gives it a good through look over. I get done and pay for my corn and walk back over to the Z.

First words out of his mouth. Our cars almost looked the same. So we chatted a bit. He was looking at the rear tires and rims. He says, "ForgeLines and 345 Cup tires". Looks at me with this funny twisted face look. And then says, Your a serous person. Wanted to know more about the Z. After a while. I told him that I could out run him, and it only cost me about half of what he spent on his 911. Boy, did his face really get twisted up on that comment. I climbed in the Z to leave. As he was still shopping. I started the Z up. He gave me the I pulled out, and got on it a bit. I spun 2nd gear a bit. I looked back in the mirror and he had his phone out taking pictures or a video. I don't know. This made my day.
