Ordered $80 of Nespresso capsules (all Ristretto-type) along with a descaling kit the week before Thanksgiving since I had pulled the machine out from the back of the cupboard. Tried the descaling kit but no water was pulling from the reservoir. I finally went at it today and took the whole thing apart despite not having the stupid oval pan bit I ordered last week which still hasn't arrived. Needle nose pliers did the trick but were a pain.

Tried everything to get the stupid water to flow. Finally I pulled out the brake bleeding vacuum pump and pulled nearly 20 psi before clearing the blockage. Thing works like a champ now

I also picked up a new kitchen appliance. I have a small (3qt) Instant Pot Ultra that I really like but just don't use that often. I just got the Instant Pot Air Fryer (8qt) and let me tell you, it is amazing. I made up enough dry rub for about 20 lbs of wings last night. It will be getting lots of use

Yea. I absolutly love mine. Cosori 5.8qt model. It's a glorified convection oven so hot hair circulates more freely than in a stagnant traditional oven. Things def come out crisper, but it's still a drastic difference from true fried foods.

Both my microwave oven and full size oven also have convection function. It's the best way to cook bacon

The air fryer is on another level though. As long as you give space among the food for the air to circulate it is perfection every time. A full size convection oven gives you more room of course, but the air fryer gives better results from what I can tell.

Compared to a deep fryer, I agree it's meh. But a bunch of stuff that can be deep fried still comes out great in the air fryer. Just different.

Completely agree. Especially for wings and fries.

I’ve been looking at that Foodi slip up counter top oven that does air frying too. Still trying to justify $250 on it. We have an air fryer that I can’t tell you the last time I used it. I was considering the Foodi for warming up pizza.

I finally got the Yoke off the pinion of the truck only to find out I need one more seal. Crazy AAM 11.5 rearend has a triple seal pinion seal. One that goes on the Yoke and then a normal pinion seal in the rear end housing. What a pain in my butt. Got to do the rear brake pads when I get finished with this.

I’m getting the urge to get another muscle car again (old iron). Was talking about it with the wife earlier today and shockingly she was cool with it. I think she knows I won’t rip out the ac again like I did on my old 70 chevelle.

Don’t have the garage space so it’ll have to wait till the next house which is a ways out, no desire to move anytime, love our place. Maybe that’s why she was so cool about it, she knows it’s just daydreaming right now. She’s too smart for my own good.

When I bought my truck. They had a life time powertrain warranty. And I got it, Only used it once. That was for the exhaust manifold studs.
