So my dad gave me his keyfob and asked for me to get the actual key out as the fob "no longer works". It takes me all of 3 seconds

So my dad gave me his keyfob and asked for me to get the actual key out as the fob "no longer works". It takes me all of 3 seconds to realize the guy somehow managed to lose the actual key built into the fob. So now he's panicking and I am sitting here just trying to enjoy some coffee Madwi sent me. I crack open the fob, replace the battery, and he is able to get into his suv. I get a call 15 minutes later of him saying he found the key attached to his keyring.....
I am done with today already......
