we were parked fairly close together in the parking lot where I got into a new Trans Am and they got into a beater

When I was a kid I was fascinated by mohawks and wild hair of the 80's. I was maybe 5 or 6 and I ran up to a punk with a giant mohawk and proudly told my mom what I was going to get at my next hair cut!

She was not amused and I didnt get a mohawk.
