Do you mean open dump valve or an external waste fat that opens out under the car?

I don’t mind open dump valves. Had an HKS SSQV as well on my S13 with a Z32 Apexi Airfilter that would make a racket as well.

The HKS used to KISS before going Pssssssshhhhh

you tailor it to make the sauce you get in Big Macs. Because they do taste good. But if you are cooking it yourself, you need far bigger burger patties . Preferably home made patties

Don’t think I could have open waste gates on a roadster. Too loud.

Don’t know how old you are, I’ve had deafening exhausts and 1.5 KW sound systems. Not sure I want to do that again. I mobile DJ’d with a 4KW sound system which has given me tinnitus . I don’t want a bone hard ride, not a lot of noise, I want comfort, I may fancy fitting a supercharger though

New shift knob is a success too. It sits high so its not a far reach from the wheel.

Paddles are easier to reach from the wheel

Im 42, I think. I removed the 8" subs I had because they were way too much for the Z. Surprised the coils arent too harsh, not a bad ride on full soft setting. Havent tried full hard setting yet.

I’m going Tein Flex on soft for normal and then let the EDFC Active Pro sort it out when I want a spirited drive. Have had a special button 3D printed for it

The open dumps are actually not bad. I'm running a virtually identical setup to Madwis and I can tell you it's substantially quieter than, say, long tube headers. It gets loud when you really get on it but it's relatively tame cruising.

And tonight’s featured special “The Horse Soldiers”

if there's no response from the button...

it could be the wire that feeds power to the top CU is broken.

it happened to my Z last year when the shop who work on the soft top messed it up.:ugh2:

If I remember, I'll do a check on the DB at some point. Cruising with long tube headers and resonated cbe was around 85. I'm guessing it's more like 78 - 80 now.

Busy day. My azz is dragin':icon14: Got up, went to Trax Farms. wifey got some stuff for the yard. Came home, and worked on the raise bed garden. It's all done with some veggies planted. Now to keep the damn rabbits out. Got a fire started and started to burn the old wood from the bathroom. Weed trimmed and cut the grass. Now camped out in my lazyboy. Catching up on the forum.
