JC,

Garage is looking good. Some real noticeable progress being made now.

I like it.

Thanks, gotta finish up cutting & attaching some more cleats, as where all sides of the OSB come together; they have meat behind them :ugh2: no open seams.
Then attach OSB to front & cut out slot for walk door. :tiphat:
I got some house wrap I’m gonna put around it afterwards, as one of the roofers also does vinyl, so I’m gonna let him give me a price :ugh2:

jchammond 05-02-2020 05:07 AM

Gotta run my power supply to it as well; it’ll be getting very dark in there soon....then I’ll be a darky working in the dark :ugh2:

Regarding the hex ball tools, did you want that in socket set or just a regular set? If regular L shaped keys- Bondhus is what you want.

Any of you mofos that are stopping by in July want a oem clutch setup? I'll throw in the oem pedal assembly too? 20K miles on it. Want it gone or its going to scrap yard for a couple bucks.

madwi 05-02-2020 08:30 AM

If Joby dont want it, I'll have a sport diff that needs to go too.

Socket set... ZSpec's dress up kit is all internal hex head fasteners and I have too much arm power to safely use 3/8ths without breaking things....

There are some nice little sets that wont cost a fortune. Gearwrench, tekton and sunex come to mind. Although, Id probably still buy the bondhus keys and use them, not like the bolts are 4" long.

I use a tiny ratcheting screw driver with a hex bit for them. I feel like it lets me snug them perfectly without overtorquing.

Hey Jar......I'm planning on buying more meat next week too.

I spent 300 bucks on meat yesterday. Wasnt even hoarding. It was only about 20 lbs of beef and maybe 8 lbs of chicken. :icon14:

Taking Pepper to the vet this morning. She hasnt been eating very much for the past several days. Shell take treats and chews, but barely eating real food. Shes drinking fine, and not lethargic. I just think the gf spoiled her with treats and shes turned into a junk food addict..

Any recommendations on detailing carts? Worth buying the Griots or Adams ones? Not that they are more expensive than a plain, heavy duty plastic cart - I think they just aren't heavy duty.

asht 05-02-2020 12:51 PM

I plugged a Kiwi PLX WiFi OBD 2 connector and read the diagnostics off Olive. All good managed to reset the trunk warning light, but not the roof
