I started digging a bomb shelter in my backyard. Gotta be ready for anything, you know. I'll worry about that other stuff like food and water later.

The only thing you need to do is to dig a hole big enough to stick your head into.

I'm not too worried about bombs but I would like to have a storm shelter in the back yard (for the frequent tornadoes we get) but I hit water at about 6".

Terrible for a storm shelter but it means there is always some water in the ditch.

When I win the Powerball, I'm going to buy some land that's a lot drier.
