Can someone tell me the easiest way to install push nut washers? Is there a special tool needed? I tried to use a socket on an extension and I cant hold the back side of the bolt enough to push the washer. Tried vice grips.. c clamps...

They are this type

I dropped both washers and had to Amazon prime some new ones.

Yes, there is a tool to help install them. Oops, I thought you were talking about something else. Not sure on these.

Getting them off was easy. Getting them on... I kept dripping them into the Zs frame. Recovered one... dropped it again.

How do you get them back on? It goes onto a bolt in a linkage joint so I cant hold the back of the bolt enough to get enough pressure on the push washer.

OH!!!!!!! I use a pair of channel locks to put those on with. They are a major PITA....


Great having dinner tonight with bunk & his gf.... the Malaysian bistro had great food.
