Of cash, that is....

Yesterday, I saw a FSBO home that got listed only 2 hours earlier on Zillow

The 11 month old house was perfect and exactly what we were planning on building anyhow...

We went right over and looked at it yesterday afternoon and then went back and cut a deal with them this morning...

Back of the house is all glass that completely slides fully open....

Here’s a shot out of the living room towards the back forty.... Nice sunset every night and occasionally some free golf balls...

Closing in 2 weeks...

(As the last 5 months were quite challenging, this is a great way to forget about all that chit...:icon17:)

very nice.

what course is that on? i'm curious if it's one of the ones i've played before.

Well that is a golf course inside of a very large gated community called The Villages, FL

The 3rd green of the “Lob Lolly” course is what you see right behind the swimming pool there.

There are over 700 golf holes here.. Golf course, after golf course, after golf course, and there are 68,000 golf carts here also... I am not kidding.

Not really a public course, and as they check IDs at the gate, if you are not 55, they might not have let you in. You have to be an old fugger to live here and that means you have to wear your pants up pretty high...

Son,

You can visit, but you do realize you may have to be the cook... As Dad here only knows how to heat-treat food in the microwave.

Dad

It is down right fridged here. Winds have been howling all day. I could hear it from inside the very warm payloader I took a nap in today

We got a bit of that rain snow heading your way. More at home than where I'm at just south of Rockford. The Mrs said about 3" of slushy crap at home but just a dusting here. It's the wind making it so craptastic. The wind chill was 10-15 all day with a 20-25mph breeze.

Been down in the dumps here lately. I miss my dog. I should be all excited about dropping off my engine. Not really. Glad it is moving forward and not looking forward to paying the rest of the bill. Just depressing.

Don't let the buyers remorse bug get you. I am doling out money for two race cars right now and it defoliating my money tree in a significant way.

My wife phone make a high pitch ding when she gets a text and it would make our bird dog go into panic mode. So yesterday it went off and she looked at me and said I miss Top. I laughed and said I was thinking the same thing. I is good to remember the love and joy they have brought us.

Well, the neighbors cat was in my yard yesterday and today. I couldn't help but think that crap wouldn't be happening if Bay was around. She hated cats. I get out the truck when I get home, no Bay. It is tough! Stuff like that gets to me.
