Different wavelength. Lidar is on the 904Nm wavelength I believe.

The other good thing is they jam the return signal so even if you are getting sprayed with laser it actively jams the gun until you slow down and turn off the system.

ALP's are the best laser jammers. They always keep them up to date and they freaking work blocking the dragon eye guns. They are becoming more common in my area.

I don't have one yet. I have always been able to spot the cops shooting them from far away. I just giggle as I go by. I am still running my old Escort Redline in my Z
and running a Uniden R3 in the Vette. One day I will upgrade.
