That was my plan, 20 years in the military, 20 years in civil service, draw military & civil service retirement along with SS....

Yep, I hear you! We make plans and then life happens. After having few decades of living life on the topside of the dirt I have learned that we think we are in charge of our future but someone else is diving the bus!

If it wasn't for the wifey talking me into it. And the chitty mess at the plant from the new company taking over. Think I might still be working there. I hated to walk away from $150,000 a year. But then, I haven't killed anyone since I retired too. That's on the bright side.
