After that, did some driving on the mountain ridge. :driving: then went for dinner. Went to a new place. Eastern Buffet Sushi & Grill. All you can eat for $12.00. Plus the food was good too. Funny see a van load of Amish in there eating. :rofl2:

$10,000.00 on Z parts. 12 bucks for dinner :rofl2:

Front brakes and rotors completed on Susan's versa. Had to make a call to Rusty since one of the caliper bolts was so rusted that it snapped when putting it back in with very minimal force. So I'll gimp it to a shop and have them drill it out and put a new one in. Other than that mishaps, everything went smoothly. Now time for a few beers alongside some taco Bell and whatever is decent on TV.

$10,000.00 wasn't an overall cost. I didn't have enough room to put all the zero's behind the 1 for an overall cost.

Happy early Father's Day.

I've had people ask me how much I have in the Z. With a straight face, I look at them and say over $100,000. Then you should see the looks. :rofl2: Because most have never seen a 370Z before or they're ricers. :rofl2:

I hear you on that.I'm at that 100K+.
Have over 30K into my motor.

If you are going FI you should go through motor.

Then I did suspension, Transmission, rear end,CF body panels, exhaust, wheels,
brakes ect ect ect.

Somebody stop me.

I wanted a Classic rear wheel roadster.Could not find one that had everything on my checklist.

So I got a Z and built it with features I wanted.

At gas station with Z today.

Buying cigars.Gas up at home as I run 96 in the car.

Kid in 1991 Toyota Supra comes up to check out the Z.

Tells me his car puts down 650HP at wheels.

He says he is running 40 LBS of boost on stock motor.

I'm thinking at 40 LBS of boost the Supra will do 650 HP at wheels for 30 seconds and then its all over but the crying.

If I have the time. I will play with them, and let them step in their own chit, then let them know it. :D

Over the years that I have had some great cars I just don't care to go their anymore. I don't go to car shows anymore either. Cars and Coffee, forget it. I build my cars/trucks for me and no one else.

Baronsmokes 06-16-2019 12:05 AM

Last year doing Dyno tuning on Z.Having some trouble with Ecutek software.

Was late and could not get a hold of anyone.Got it worked out the next day.All was good. They where very helpful.Good customer support.

Left car at shop.Next day Tanya gives me ride to shop.

1986 Camaro on Dyno. Four kids watching the car they built.

Motor pops.

The looks on the kids faces was very bad.

I really felt for them.

At one point in my life I was that kid.No money but trying to push envelope as far as I could.
