covering the insulation batts on the garage walls/ceiling.

madwi 07-12-2019 12:24 PM

Decided I didnt want to sheetrock it. Saved a few bucks and should look fine with a few coats of sprayed on primer and then paint.

What a day. I don't need any more like that. Best part the boss figured concrete wrong. He figured 478, it was only 390. I got it turned off at 432. We just sent back more than it would take to pour Jobys shed floor lol.

Where da beers at!

Did the doctor insist on rubbing you down with pleasantly-scented oils before he began the exam?

Don't forget the pleasant and relaxing sounds of Enya and Yanni, mixed in with some Engelbert Humperdingk, wafting about the exam room.

Oh! Ahhhhh... now isn't that better.... :ugh2:

It's still setting in for me. But I may have just put an offer in on a small 2 bed 1 bath house. Good neighborhood. Fenced in backyard with deck and pool.

Leingod 07-12-2019 06:45 PM

Oh yea. And the most important part. A freaking attached single stall garage!!

Don't you have 2' centers on the trusses? You'll want plywood clips on that 7/16 if you put it on the ceiling.

Yeah, they are 24" o/c trusses. I was wondering if I would need clips or not. 7/16 is pretty thin for the ceiling and I hope they dont sag.

Plus you can hang **** wherever you want and not worry about finding a stud. Of course it can’t be that heavy.
