Off to flying start this morning.
Made Post about truck in neighbors yard and posted to wrong location.

Leingod 06-15-2019 09:34 AM

Morning guys. Went to the families coffee shop. Needed a boost and it's the first sunny day we've had in over a week. Much needed.

One other thing to point out, is you probably want to do a total re-roof. That means take off all the old shingles.

Just putting new shingles over the old ones decreases the life expectancy because of the excessive heat buildup.... just say’in

Okay got my floor re-stained.

$48 and 4 hours crawling around doing it

And now we wait for it all to dry

-ZS-Carpenter 06-15-2019 01:21 PM

Only 1 trip to the tool store so far. That took out the rest of my morning. But the flywheel and pilot bushing are in. Going to clean things up and get the clutch in then start working on the cmak.

Got a buddy coming over later to lend a hand. Might be down to pedal and cmc by days end :excited:

So far so good. clutch is in, cmak installed, trans mount is on, did the high lift to get the rolly chair back underneath and set it back down. Little break then we'll see if she slides back into place

madwi 06-15-2019 05:08 PM

EW swung by and we mounted some insulation batts in the garage. EW stapled batts while I pulled all the BS off the walls and pulled cabinets out of the way.

Cover it in poison ivy. Tell your friends to bypass it. All other that you don't want at the house will walk through it.

A little heat in there for the winter. You will be like me. Spending all your time in the winter in the garage doing winter projects on the Z.

Fortunately it didn't hurt anything. My neighbors came over and we basically picked it up and carried it to the garage.

You can rent them out from Home Depot.

Rusty 06-15-2019 07:46 PM

Another good day. Took the wifey out in the Z. Went up the mountain to a winery that was having a small festival. Looked around and the wifey bought 6 bottles. After that, did some driving on the mountain ridge. :driving: then went for dinner. Went to a new place. Eastern Buffet Sushi & Grill. All you can eat for $12.00. Plus the food was good too. Funny see a van load of Amish in there eating. :rofl2:
