So what if I have? I like to make sure everything is correct and done properly. I also watched videos on how to drive stick back in 2012 when nobody could teach me in real life. Went out, bought a civic SI and drove it home an hr away.

I'm still the only one in my entire family that can drive a manual car. I seriously learned by mimicking YouTube videos and playing with a cheap shifter module from a ps2. Haha.

When I was growing up. Everyone knew how to drive a stick. :driving: Manuals was standard equipment, and automatics was optional.

When I went to pick up my Z I didn't even know how to drive manual. I watched a few youtube vids the tough part was rev matching on the downshifts but I knew the Z had a autosyncro rev match feature so I was safe. Up shifting through the gears was a LITTLE bit of a mission but I got the hang of it in les than 10 mins. Bradford to Toronto was the trip, turned out well. Where there is a will there's a way.

EW is a happy man

a couple months ago Mr. EW would have given one these  but, he's had an awakening... and will spread happiness to all..

-ZS-Carpenter 06-16-2019 02:05 PM

triple checked everything with the clicky wrench. Drive shaft, exhaust, wiring and sensors in and tied up. Missing the Y to Mid pipe gasket so that, the body braces, the pedal and cmc all next weekend. :happydance:

Soon I will be looking for that break in road trip :driving::excited:
