We had some serious rain last night as well, quite a storm.

sx moneypit 06-20-2019 07:19 AM

Good morning everyone!:hello:

JLarson 06-20-2019 07:32 AM

How's everybody doing this morning?

madwi 06-20-2019 07:32 AM

Tired and ready for bed.

madwi 06-20-2019 07:36 AM

Raining here too but no flooding or anything. Grass could use it.

BettyZ 06-20-2019 07:41 AM

Been raining for 14 hours straight here. Today's my day off so I'm less than pleased. But the garden and the new trees I planted last week surely need it.

The factory end links are $140.00 each. The NAPA ones was $16.00 each. The NAPA ones are not as strong as the factory ones. :shakes head:

Everything else is in good shape.

Why not use Grade 8 bolts and the appropriate hardware? The end links that NAPA & the other places sell are nothing but Grade 3 or 5 (at best) bolts with some cheesy stamped metal over them....:shakes head:

Rain, more rain, and more rain. :icon14: We got flood watches and warnings. Had a good light show ing on last night.

On a REALLY off topic subject..... :rofl2::rofl2:

My Honda DD's blower fan AND blower motor resistors quit on the same day....:shakes head::shakes head:

Ordered the motor & fan assembly from Amazon on Tuesday, got it Wednesday and installed it. Still no spinny spinny....:eekdance: Checked power to resistors, good, checked power to fan, no good....... :owned: Ordered resistors from Amazon and they will be in today. Everything I got from Amazon was half the cost of the parts stores..... :icon14::icon14:

Can't. The Power Wagon is a different animal when it comes to parts. It's doesn't take standard 2500 running gear. The end links are a double ball joint. The factory links are $140.00 each. Good aftermarket ones are $160 a set. I got the NAPA ones has I needed them now, not 4 weeks later.

Looking like the 28th-30th will be the road trip. Still hammering out the details but if we don't go then it might be mid to late July before my brother has any time off. Tried to get him to go over the weekend of the 4th but he is working doubles all weekend

You would die down here. LOL 100+ with the same humidity. Sweating at 12:00am just walking outside. It is miserable.

bunk 06-20-2019 12:36 PM

lol...thats so true.. my best friends dad worked there for a while after he retired.

Normal here for this time of year is mid to high 80's. It's been cool and wet. When it rains, the humidity just goes sky high, and the temps go up. After it dries. Then the temps go back down. If it would just stay at one temp for a while to get used to it. It wouldn't be bad.:shakes head:

Or maybe I can send you one via UPS for you to use and return. Course, knowing how long it's taken you to install parts, it might be there for ever... :rofl2::rofl2:

Thanks for the offer but not necessary. As long as there is no trace of fuel, I can take pretty much any car parts I can carry. I hate checking baggage if I can avoid it, so I'll plan to carry-on.

Looking at the 2nd week in August right now. Will coordinate with Rusty

Back from San Antonio :hello:

Should have turned on my AC before I headed back. Got home and it was 90F inside since I had everything turned off all week :icon17: :ugh:
