This puppy is really fearless. I vacuumed and did some carpet spot cleaning with the steam cleaner yesterday. She didnt even flinch. Only thing was she tried to fight the vacuum cleaner and kinda jumped out of the way when she realized it was bigger than her..lol
If she takes up to training really well, might consider service dog training.

My one Golden, Cooper would cut grass and weedeat with me. He would walk next to the lawn mower, be by my side when weedeating. He loved the leaf blower. Long as I didn't point it at his face. :rofl2: Hit him in the chest and his sides. He wouldn't move.

When my dog was a puppy id blow in his face and he would try to bite my face off :icon17: If I inhale real deep and puff out my cheeks, he will jump up and know its play time.

Same here.. They probably think that when you blow in their face, they think its an invisible hand or something..lol

Brother DSmobile 620 scanner. It's relatively inexpensive, but it's a single sheet scanner (one page at a time).

That's what they proposed but single sheet would kill me.

This is Ellie, she’s a rescue that we got May 10th. The wife drove to Madison Wisconsin, 900 mi.round trip to get her ! If you look closely at her pic, part of her lower jaw is missing, so her lower lip just hangs.
She was in a fight and beat up pretty bad with a broken jaw and some puncture holes along her rib cage. The vets didn’t think she was going to make it but they kept her alive cause she was close to having a litter of puppies, none of the pups survived but she did !
She’s been absolutely fantastic, she’s fit in quite well, the cat has been a little leary but also doing quite well !
She’s 39 lbs. and approximately 3yrs. Old

Susan backed out of the driveway this morning to the sound of a loud screeching noise. I looked down and saw her brake pad fall out of the caliper. The thing was paper thin. Haha. Time for new brakes!

I never heard any metal on metal sounds beforehand either. It was really weird. Literally just stopped working overnight. Haha. I already ordered new pads and rotors. Easy fix, but wow. Never had a car not warn me when pads get that low before.

The sexual harassment claims are absolutely the worst.

I worked for awhile with an elderly guy who was a disabled vet and he had to wear a patch over one eye. Every time I was near him he would make these odd breathing noises and it always seemed like he was “undressing me” with his eye.

I turned him into HR many many times and they never did nothing about it...

It was a hostile work environment for sure...

I only could take that for a few years and I finally just up and quit...

(To this day, it’s awkward being around anyone who ever wore a uniform.. :icon14:.)

Oh man, sorry to hear that. The one thing g I have learned is that people don't make up sexual harassment claims. Does it happen yes but less than 2% of sexual harassment claims are made up. It takes a lot for a person to come forward and so for me my whole world is put on hold until I can complete an investigation. The one people get wrong 90% of the time is the claim of hostile work environment. They may have poor leadership or they are not performing to standard and are being scrutinized so they don't like it and claim hostile work environment. The latter is and waste of my time. Do your job and won't have to worry about your boss!

Had a college ex who was being harassed by a classmate. Proposed a course of action and she thought it was a dandy idea. The next week in chem lab she "tripped" and "accidentally" spilled a beaker of diluted acid on the crotch area of his lab apron. Made eye contact as she did it.

I heard his behavior was impeccable after that.
