An apology is a nice touch, but no one ever learned not to misbehave simply because they had to apologize. Punishment is still needed for the lesson to sink in.

My CEO thinks I'm a cold blooded none caring because I say pain compliance always works and should be used more often. It all about behavior modification, the pain will continue until your behavior changes.

LMAO, yeah I thought whippins were like vitamins...you got two a day weather you needed them or not! The best thing my parents ever did for me is made me tow the line and to understand that rules and my behavior matter and no excuses!!!
