Yessir... and at one of the sites I visit monthly, they will also let you go if you are looking at your phone or talking on it... they do not want you to possibly trip and get hurt. They are very serious about safety... Very Serious...

At the power plant. We had to cover our azz in paperwork before starting any job. If you did something that wasn't on your job plan. They could and would write you up. A one hour job would take 6 hours sometimes. 5 hours of writing the job plan.

Started the disassembly phase of the diff project. Felt like crap, no energy. Only managed to remove exhaust and chassis brace and two bolts from the sway bar.

It was a regular occurrence in my world to be going up and down a ladder on the back of a 6x6, carrying a 35 pound dipole antenna.... ain't no handrails on those ladders....

When I worked at the container terminals, we were installing these portable computers (pre tablet days... they had a 16" screen, and were about 2" thick, weighed about 8lbs). We had to climb up the strad pickers. Open ladder after about 15' climbing. Tied a rope to the portable computer and hung it around my neck. That was interesting to say the least.
