Slumped over on the couch is a tall fellow with a cat sleeping on his head. In front of him is a half eaten ham sandwich and a tool catalog flipped open.

Looking further into the darkness, My highly trained eye focuses on a much older guy half asleep on a folding stool. His right hand is half closed around a few poker chips. An odd man indeed with a well worn Dodge Power Wagon hat pulled down over his eyes and a steady stream of drool running out of the corner of his mouth

As I continue to scan the room, I see another guy slumped over a well worn computer screen. He appears to have a half empty bottle of Percoset tipped over near his hands as he sits on an electric scooter. With hospital scrubs as somewhat of a uniform, he looks almost as if he is in charge of this club of miscreants

Still yet, I peer further into the darkness. Back in the corner of the room, I think I can make out a smaller guy. Almost Asian-like in appearance, he appears to be wearing two right handed rubber gloves and has a slight smile on his face. With a heavily encrusted gay porn mag opened up in front of him and a half empty tube of Astroglide, he seems to be asleep. I cannot see his eyes as he has a pair of underwear over his head while he lightly snores.

Then through the darkness, I sense a dim light from under a half closed door.

Despite my fear of being spotted, I stay the course to see who else is in the Z clubhouse

The light brightens as the door opens and before I can almost see who is there, The most gut wrenching smell immediately envelopes the room. A smell that would wake up a litter of skunks and they would begin to run in different directions heaving the conents of their tiny stomachs everywhere.

My nostrils begin to involuntarily close and my eyes instantly burn with acidic teardrops.

Almost unable to stand without shaking, I wait silently to see who appears

A small light in the main room of the clubhouse comes on and eerily shadows all of the odd characters lying about in their various semi-comatose states.

I hear the guy that just came from the bathroom as he repeatedly shouts loudly to the others... “SUCK IT UP DUDES, IT WASNT THAT BAD...”

Puzzled by this odd mantra and fearing detection, I quickly turn and run back into the woods.

Hidden in the darkness of the woods, my heartbeat slows and my eyes begin to clear. As my nasal passages normalize, I vow to never ever try to sneak up on the Z gang’s clubhouse again...

Between the sights, the sounds and the smells, young Spoiler has learned a life-lesson tonight and he is glad to have survived it.
