cell- not sure in your case but on both my G and Z's VQ's when new, i set oil level to about 3/4 up between the two dots on the dipstick. if i fill all the way to the top dot the oil burns.. i can actually faintly smell burning oil after a drive. i dont know why this is.

anyway, on my G after about 10-12K miles i could fill to the very top without burning oil. my Z is at 8300 miles and still burns oil if i fill to the top dot... not worried though.

You believe in anything he wrote? :icon14:

Theres a few conservative judges in line for the 9th circuit. Itll be interesting to see how this all pans out. One already ruled the 30rd mag ban as unconstitutional, but the CA AG motioned a stay on that lift. Itll go to the SC. Slowly but surely....hopefully.

Thats all Im gonna say.... :drama:

i'm currently at 75500 miles and i really dont think my Z burns oil at all. if so it's a small amount which i assume any car will burn over time. and add in that i pretty much change oil every spring and was putting 10k a year on the car and that oil lol

Leingod 04-11-2019 11:52 AM

I've either got a massive oil leak I have never noticed or the car has burned over 2.5 quarts of oil between Michigan drive and here last season.

Car is totaled with 31k in damages.

I hope they offer a reasonable cash value for my car, and my insurance doesnt shoot to 300 a month so I can get another Z ( I was paying 115 with 2000 deductible )

As long as it wasn't your fault, your insurance shouldn't change. Mine went down when I got the 2015.

Unfortunately it was an at-fault single vehicle incident.

I am 24, never been pulled over and haven't had an accident in 5 years (slight fender bender), every other insurance was quoting around 400 for the Z. I had to go with a super high deductible with GEICO in order to get a decent rate.

Hopefully when I turn 25 in two months, my insurance will drop a bit and help offset the increase in insurance from the accident.

damn! who are you insured with?

i got mine at age 23 and think it was like 150 a month with $100 deductible.

think now at 32 it's like 90 a month for my Z and then the 4 months i lay it up and pay like $15 a month.

I am with GEICO.. Any suggestions for cheaper insurances? I was paying close to 80 when I had it in storage

I just got an online quote for 180 with 500 deductible even with an at-fault accident worth 20,000. How did I not know about this insurance before

Looks like it'll be possible to get another Z after all
