Bunk you did no wrong by installation instructions on their website; hopefully they will compensate you somehow for your extra work :ugh2:

I don't have those instructions.

I just double checked the manual.

It's listed as 54 (5.5, 40) for torque spec. N·m (kg-m, ft-lb)

SPL dropped the ball on that one.

That wild. SPL is showing 70 ( 7.1, 52). Wonder what year the torque spec was changed?

Remember that I had a problem with the diameter of the mid-link bearing this past winter. :shakes head:

I haven't gotten anything done this weekend. 2 days of rain and today a massive neck problem. My left arm was done. It is a little better now. Still have the car to wash and vacuum tomorrow and other prep work so the wife has an easier time with my absence. Trying to figure out if I am going through Atlanta or coming up through Columbia, SC on the way to Zdayz. I am just so tired of Atlanta traffic. It sucks.

Just did some research. 2009, 2010 use the 70 (7.1, 52) torque spec. 2011 and up use the 54 (5.5, 40) torque spec.

Wondering if Bunk's Z is a late MY, and they switch parts to the 2011 parts and specs?

You need a Hype-space button. Press the button, and puff you're someplace else. But you never know where you will end up at.

Yeah, see that. They also don't show anything about the different diameters for the stock mid-link bushings either. :shakes head:

Nah, I like him. I'll just take a little piece here and take a little piece there. Just enough for him to remember.

If I remember correctly the SPL-recommended torque for the sway bar end links was 70 ft/lbs less than the FSM. They were using the 350Z FSM-recommended torque. Wonder if that's the case here...
