Follow Spoilers advice and you should do well!

it has actually inspired me :bowrofl:

i mean if the 50ish year old gay guy across the street can cut the grass in his daughters shorts, i think i can do that kind of yard art.

and yes i know how odd gay guy and daughter sounds but i guess the mother must have screwed him up and drove him to sausage.

think we did it in 2004? all i know is i paid $25 and sat 10th row to watch USC just beat up on Michigan.

it was a pretty solid trip minus carrying a 30-40lb drum rig for 5.5 miles.

Couldn’t of been 2004 cuz Texas played in the Rose Bowl in back2back years 2004/2005. 2004 Vince dominated the Rose Bowl like no other before him and led the Horns to victory over Michigan. 2005 he upped that performance and beat what everyone called ‘The Greatest College Football Team of All-Time’ USC for the National Championship!

Which officially never happened somehow.

If Reggie Bush had his Heisman stripped from him that year, why didn't they just Fedex it to VY's house? I'm sure he would have sold it by now, but it should have gone to him.

i have their loudest (purchasable) version on right now.

i also have an even louder version that they do not sell :stirthepot:

JARblue 04-12-2019 09:23 AM

The 2004 Rose Bowl was after the 2003-2004 season. Texas beat Michigan in the 2005 Rose Bowl in the 2004-2005 season. The national championship game was the 2006 Rose Bowl for the 2005-2006 season.

What are the options you selected when you purchased it?

it was the rose bowl and the year on the calendar was 2004. so it was the 2004 rose bowl.

Does the carbon fiber change the sound at all or does that only reduce weight?

both.

CF is higher pitched and touch more volume.

SS is lower pitched vs the CF.

same with test pipes vs long tube headers.

TP - higher pitch

LTH - deeper sound.

is it opposite day? lol

CF is louder, higher pitch, and lighter. all documented lol

Not sure if true or not but the website states that it is 6lbs lighter

Weight: 41 lbs. w/ CF Mufflers & 12" resonated x pipe (16 lbs. lighters than the factory exhaust.)
Weight: 47 lbs. w/ SS Mufflers & 12" resonated x pipe (10 lbs. lighter than the factory exhaust.)

JARblue 04-12-2019 09:44 AM

the CF is lighter.

the SS is full stainless steel cans.

the CF is basically SS end plates with a circular CF tube as the muffler. it's not like a little piece for show wrapped around metal.

trust me, my buddy ripped one open at zdayz last year its just CF then the innards of the muffler lol

I've got a busted up CF can in my storage unit. I thought the CF was wrapped around a SS can, but it must have been part of the SS end plate that I was looking at that got bashed into the CF tube.
