Ace says they will honor the Craftsman warranty.

I'm not sure about the others, I haven't asked.

Even before Sears went bust, I was having a hard time getting warranty service on tools. The new kids had no idea and they kept saying 'no'. I had to find a manager and threaten to bring in everything for a refund to get a broken socket replaced.
