When I was at the plant. Got paid 12 hrs straight time. Any hours worked was paid at 1.5 times. That was a $1,400 day.

Yep! Everything in that place is designed to kill you. And I was pushing my luck. Besides that, being bought by Dynegy and them changing things for the worst. Management no longer had our backs. They would hang you out to dry. Had one CRO that would put an ax in your back just to get one over on you. Know that Kenny Rodgers song. Know when to hold, when to fold, and when to run. I ran. I do miss the $150,00 a year money. But not what went with it. If it was still Duke Energy. I would still be there.
