ohhh, and mr. madwi forgot to mention, as he was finishing up with his oil change, he had just installed his new fumoto drain plug, he was pouring new redline oil in the engine, and I was doing something in front of his car and I heard something leaking from underneath his car... guess what it was? as he was pouring it in....

yeah... that fumoto plug's valve was in the open position.. brand new redline oil going into the dirty drain pan...

... luckily, I was there to save the day and let him know..

Guess what? He's not the first one to have that happened to them. I know a few people with that drain valve.

One guy had the drain valve on his lawn tractor. He changed attachments on the tractor and bumped the drain valve. The tractor ran for about 20 minutes before seizing up. I helped him change motors in the tractor. When someone talks about the Fumoto valves. I always cringe.

What have you been talking about?? Your rear plug valves has been leaking and loose all this years you need to place an O ring gasket on it!

Prime reason I bought the lock for the valve....

I need a new job..... I have a feeling this place is circling the drain.....

Simply put, I'm an electronics technician... I fix crap that runs on arcs & sparks & ones & zeros....

Here I've been building, testing, installing & servicing a device that teaches preemies how to suck. It basically has an electric motor that drives an air cylinder to pulse a pacifier in a pattern the brain recognizes.

The issues are what are typically found in startups... great idea, great device, never enough money to build a smaller device. The current one is a full size cart that has a 21" iMac on it, with an overly large enclosure to hold the pneumatic generator, the control device (cRIO by National Instruments), a circuit board and some wire. Space in the NICU is at a premium, there really isn't enough room to have that big of a machine in there. The device needs to be just about shoebox size, mounted on the wall and accessed via Bluetooth from a laptop or tablet.

This is currently the third time we've been wondering if we are going to get any more $$$ to keep going, they seem to be waiting for a possible IPO that may happen either 4th Q this year or 1st Q next year. I've done one install this year, the first in several months and right now, I have 5 systems done and nothing pending for the remainder of the year......

TBH, there's not much I can't do... hell, I spent 20 years in Uncle Sam's Misguided Children...

It starts small, and slowly increases.
