Evo-R mirrors are boxed up and ready for a FS thread. Anyone want first shot at them? I don't recommend them just because Evo-R but look at it this way - at least with these Jay doesn't get any more money.

The threads on the inside of the brass nut were stripped and flaked right off. So I used jb weld to fill the hole and tapped a new thread into it. I couldn't find anything even remotely close at Lowes to replace the brass part.

Getting the door panel and bolts off was quick and painless. Maybe 5 minutes per side. I even trimmed the plastic rubber mold piece so it covers the gap below the mirror so no water can enter the door. I did end up just snipping the cables for the electronic controls on the stock mirrors. I'll solder them together later at some point.

I love leftovers. Pasta is the best when it's a day old. The sauce has a chance to soak in.

I guess certain dishes are ok. I can think of maybe one or two dishes that I can eat for a few nights in a row. But for the most part, I get bored with the same thing

When I was inbetween wifes. I used to make a stir-fry. Use either grilled chicken, pork or steak. Stir-fry my veggies, add my meat, cook a little longer with the veggies. At the same time. I would cook a box of pasta. Springs, or bow-ties. Cook for 12 minutes. When that was done. I would add the pasta to the meat and veggies. For a sauce. either stir-fry or Sweet and Sour. Add enough to suit your taste. That would make a big pot. I would eat this for about 3 maybe 4 days. It was just as good on the 3 day as the first.

I hear that! We used to love it when our hardware vendors would stop by to do maintenance on their equipment. It meant having a very very expensive lunch..lol

Also, whenever we would have to travel for work that required a few days being away, we called that "time to gain some weight".. we were allowed 60 dollars a day in meals.. the guideline was to eat how you normally eat if you were at home. Why yes, I eat lobster for every meal, thank you!

When I worked for Elliott TurboMachinery. I did a LOT of traveling around the country. Some of it was for 1 day to 6 weeks on site. When I would go to Ashland Oil Refinery in Canton Oh. That would be 4 to 6 weeks on site. I would always come home 20 to 25 lbs heavier. Never eat in the same place twice. That area has everything under the sun to eat at. I could spent as much as I wanted, long as I had a receipt.

When I worked for Duke Energy. Had to go to Cinci for some training. Op's manager told us about a good place to go and eat. Morton's Steakhouse. So....ok me and another co-work went there to eat. Just for me. My bill was $110.00. The other guys bill was about the same. Got back to the plant and turned in our expenses to the Op's manager. The next day when he went through the expenses. He called us into the office and tried to chew us azzez out. Said that he wasn't going to approve the expenses. I said that YOU recommended THAT place. So you had to eat there too! How much was your bill? End of story. He approved everything. Because he knew I had him.

Hahah... ya travelling was like living large. 4/5 star hotels, whatever rental car you wanted, expensive meals. Only thing missing was 1st class flights. We even had a guy try to expense condoms...lol
