While bowling is not usually a difficult sport to become competent at, it's frustrating when the ball doesn't go where you want it to... (gutter ball).
I was told that a finger-tip ball was more for accomplished bowlers and you would /could graduate to that after mastering the basics (approach, release, etc). Maybe I'm a little confused, it's been a while since I went bowling, but I had a 16lb Hammer and a 15 lb Beast I used, neither of which is a fingertip ball. Hell, I had a hard time breaking 160....

When I started bowling, I thought the objective was to see how far you could toss a 16 pounder before it came down. I could get it about 3/4 way down the alley. I was told pretty quick that was not supposed to be part of the plan... LOL
