How much do you tip your barber / haircutter?

I pay between 12-15 for a haircut at a nice place and usually tip 2 unless they completely do not pay attention and screw it up.

What kind of place? Regular cost cutters or similar?

I have been going to the SAME guy for last 3 years. He changed three shop now and I just follow him wherever he goes. As for tips, $5. Sometime $6 if he spent really long time.
