My first overclocking experience went extremely well today. I followed this guide( Core 2 Duo Overclocking on the 680i - PC feature - at IGN ) step by step(identical hardware) and I literally did this without even resetting the cmos once. Obviously I didn't go too crazy with the numbers but here are my final stats:
2.4Ghz -> 3.4Ghz MEM 783Mhz -> 900Mhz 5-5-5-15@1.85v Video 513/1187/735 -> 650/1507/930 Upped the voltages by very little. There's drastic performance increase now, and it's definitely not placebo.
