It's a good question, and not terribly difficult to find an answer to with a phone call to my broker.

However, what if a spoke snaps at any kind of speed. Then the least of my concerns are whether insurance will cover a fender and coilover!

Cheating out is one thing, but if it becomes dangerous at the expense of your wallet then that's quite another.

I have had knockoff wheels before R8 reps on my Audi, and never had a problem, but that quick google search yeilded a lot of very specific results which doesn't really sit all that well with me.
