I once felt some sympathy and offered some humble advice to this fellow.

Here's my second piece of advice for Ye Scalawag: Stop talking about your overly personal stuff, such as your wounded feelings. It's a car forum.

When the ratio of threads about wounded feelings to automotive questions reaches 2:1 or greater, its time to ask yourself "why am I here?"

It's better to ask yourself that before others ask it of you.

Go check your oil level or something. Its good to do that every couple of weeks or so anyway.
