modded stock intake box?

I just modified a set to include CNC'd velocity stacks... testing coming soon.

I'm going to try and get on the dyno either this weekend or next to see if the v-stacks make a difference in a shoot out with OEM boxes. Both will have K&N panel filters and smooth tubes, so the only difference will be the v-stacks.

They should make more power, but we'll see...

If I get another 5 whp out of it, I'll consider it a success, but again, we'll see.

Just in case anyone is wondering: I didn't make it to the dyno last week -- will try to set something up for this coming weekend.

If that also falls through, come hell or high water I'll schedule time for the following weekend. I really want to test these out!

Are you able to datalog MAF voltage or g/sec ingested? That will also give you an indication of gains over your current set up.

I was thinking of doing that this Saturday morning , Getting some 4th gear HW pulls in and comparing them to my other logs. I'll post them up Saturday too Waiting for your Friday runs
