I think from all the videos I watched 18'' is too quiet for me. If 12'' and 18'' make not much difference. I will just for the non-res
Not really the tone of the exhaust, the volume. Like Chuck said, higher rpm and more load if i am correct?

Can not decide if I want 18" or 12" either.

So the tone is the same it's just louder...

My car has less then a 1000 miles in it, so I don't really know how it sounds when you accelerate quickly.

So 18" I think may be enough for me.

There are couple guys on the forum trading 18''s for 12'' or nons. so that kinda make me think I should get something louder.

I ordered the FI cbe with 18" res and their long tube headers that should be here january. i wanted a lot louder than stock but not obnoxious and as much power possible to make with an NA setup. I've only heard a few of the same setups on youtube and they all sound pretty aggressive.

I had 18 inch resonators, and switched to non res. I love the sound when I get up around 5-6k rpm, it sounds almost like dare I say an F1 car. Non res is quite loud, not gonna lie but it's awesome. Non res makes downshifts with srm sound epic.

When my buddy Greg rides along every time he says I quote "you have way too much fun with the rev match thing" I love rolling up to a stop about 40 mph pop in neutral and just give the shifter a quick move to the gaet for second gear, epic noise from this motor... here is a crappy vid from in the cabin z1 headers art pipes and non res FI.

And my dyno vid:

Its cuts at 7500, it has a quick moment of rasp at 2k but the art pipes clear it up quick.

7500, hmm weird it clearly Goes to 8k on your vid but either way very nice and yea I know what you mean that lil rasp between 2600-3000 is a lil annoying but ehh it comes with the perks so can't complain

Its from last year when I first got them installed. They are 18" resonated. I purchased this version because I live in a bit of a classy country club and the wife was not about me screaming everywhere I went. It gives me plenty of noise when I rev it up so im happy. I did however just order from Tony and FI some Resonated Test Pipes so it should increase the sound somewhat but Im happy overall. I get great compliments on my sound nonstop!

I was a little nervous about non res being too loud. Now that I have it, I am extremely happy I went that route. Certain rpm's there is some drone but it doesn't bother me. I think I even wouldn't mind the exhaust being a little louder. I'm on stock cats btw. YouTube videos definitely don't do the exhaust justice. Sounds much better in person. I sent friends before and after videos taken with my gopro and they say it sounds the same. Then when they hear it in person it blows there minds.

late in on this thread, but I think part of the decision making is auto vs manual..

I went auto.. and for that reason.. Im glad I went 18" res. when I rev it.. its exactly what I wanted.

its is drone -ish abit..at 1900-2200 rpms though.
