not it is nothing like that at all, you can sue a company for falsely advertising their product, or if their product broke your property, ect.

you can not do that with the government however so companies unlike the government do not want someone to sue them and spread bad things about them because not only will they lose money, they will lose business and losing business means losing money on top of the money they already lost

However, you're entitled to your own opinions.
that is user error then and not the company's problem, if you stuck them in and out of the box they killed your MAF sensors, thats a different story

Decent gains for little cash -- I (and others) have several dynos posted to verify this. Search.

I have an extra set on hand with just under 3K on them.

PM me, I'll sell 'em both to you for $65 shipped.

^thanks, but just installed mine yesterday. 99 bucks for the 2 of them, I thought that seemed like a decent price considering I've seen them for for 60 or 70 each elsewhere. I did feel like I had slightly better throttle response and power today when I got on it a few times. Maybe it's just a placebo effect but I'm happy so far.

Don't know how accurate this is... but I took the neg battery terminal off and reset the ECU. Had to reset a couple things, Headunit, Windows, etc..

But after I did that, I felt such a BIG difference. & it took about half a tank to relearn my driving, but i was mashing the pedal for about 150 miles after the reset. The car seems to have much better throttle response in 4th & 5th then it did. I am sure the ECU learned that the new filters were there and ready to rock.

What do you actually do to reset the ecu? Will doing that void my warrenty or make the dealership get pissy?

Wont void warranty by any means. This isnt "Flashing/Tuning/Messing" with the engine at all. Its simply removing all of the computers stored learning of your previous driving habits. For example if you have the 7AT and shift in manual mode at 2500 everytime, then reset the ECU and shift at 4000 everytime, throw it back into "D", and the car will shift automatically for you at 4000rpm because thats what the computer thinks you want to shift at.

At least, thats my take on it all. The harder you drive after ECU reset, the more the car comes alive. Just my opinion. It could all be in my head, but who cares.

RESET ECU alternative method

Yea I looked at a few threads, sounds like there are a couple different methods to do it involving disconnecting the negative battery terminal and then a few other steps. Sounds like the procedure for it is in the manual. il have to check it out later tonight. I can probably benefit from resetting it considering I have an FI CBE and the drop ins. The drop ins I consider 1/2 a breathing mod. So I have 1.5 breathing mods which I don't NEED a tune for but this ecu reset might be perfect.
