So after a call to Magnaflow the problem is resolved. The issue was that the shop had all the exhaust joints drawn up tight which decreased the rear clearance significantly.

So after a call to Magnaflow the problem is resolved. The issue was that the shop had all the exhaust joints drawn up tight which decreased the rear clearance significantly. I put it up on the jack stands in the driveway, loosened the right and left joint going into the muffler and moved it back just short of an inch. Still significant capture at the joint and plenty of clearance at the evap box.
I think that the Magnaflow kit was great, great price on Amazon 837.00 and sounds good surprised that they are not used more in this forum. Regards, Jim Quote:
