It isn't because you sound like you want to pull them off anyways. When they're off have the resonators welded on and reinstall them. That will fix the rasp. As for getting tq back, if you lost it which you might not have because you didn't do a before and after dyno to prove it, you need a tune no matter what. The tune will give it back if you lost it and then some.

It's the test pipes or high flow cats makes you lose torque down low. That's because the low end torque needs some back pressure while tps and hfcs relief the back pressure for peak gains(which is at the higher rpm range).

The solution for this is to get your car tuned. A tune not necessary gain much peak power but will correct the A/F ratio and bring back the power down low thus improve your drivability a couple notch up.

Now I think I know what you trying to say man. Is it convert the test pipe with a resonator like ART pipe? In my country is hard to find a good tuner for NA and they normally tune for turbocharged cars. I still finding a good tuner to tune my car. Thanks man

No not like the art pipe. Like the FI test pipe. A vibrant 2.5 in/out resonator is 12" long but can be cut down to 10" so it can be installing in line with the pipe. Their $48 each but will make it sound much better.

As for tuning you don't need anyone there. Remote tuning or Internet tuning works 100%. You just log, a tuner adjusts the map and emails it back to you. Takes a few logs but it will be right as rain.
