Why such a price increase for G37?

To view this exhaust on our website and hear a sound clip, click here: AAM Competition - Nissan GT-R, 370Z Turbo Performance Specialists

This exhaust is hot off the press and we'd like your help to get the word out! In an effort to help with our marketing of the AAM Competition 3" True Dual Exhaust System we would like to extend an offer to the first 10 people who purchase this exhaust. In exchange for pictures and/or sound clips that we can use on our website & in our marketing, we will discount the first ten exhaust systems $300 off of MSRP for both the 370Z and G37 version of the exhaust.

The AAM Competition 3" True Dual Exhaust System is a truly remarkable exhaust system and we hope this marketing discount plan benefits both you with an extra discount and helps us quickly get the word out and build a collection of installed exhaust photos & sound clips.

There is an extra piece needed for the G37 because of the extra length. Unlike our 2.5" True Dual that has a straight piece to make up for the length, the 3" extension for the G37 actually has a bend in it.

Sorry if this is out of place, but I've asked before and got no answer.

Does anyone know if I can run the OEM nismo catback (not s-tune) with the non-nismo aam short tails I have on my tour/sport z? I know their is a difference between the two short tails. Just didn't know if it was because of the bumper differences or what?

Must be a pretty tight fit then. Thanks for the details

Meaning you want to use your Nismo H-pipe with the regular Short tails vs Nismo Short tails?

Yes sir, the nismo H-pipe and midsection and the regular short tails I already have on my (non-nismo) touring/sport z.

I think the regular short tails will do fine since you have the regular bumper.
I have the AAM Midpipe and its the same as the Nismo H-pipe (just bigger diameter). Paired with the non-nismo Short Tails.

The only difference between the standard Short Tails and the Nismo Short Tails, is the tip section. If the Nismo Short Tails fit, the standard will also fit.

Thank you sir, I was looking to pickup a used nismo exhaust and pair it with the short tails I already have on.

Looks great but I think the exhaust would look better coming straight out of the back instead of at an angle. I m guessing the flanges are 2.5" expanded to 3"? It's nice to have other options on the table that are Available and ready to ship!!!

Sound clips would be nice!!!!

It comes out angled because of the rear suspension. If it was straight out, the bends before the muffle would have to be so extreme that it would disrupt flow. In the first stages of R&D, while we were designing everything with CAD, we tried to see what would give us the best performance, while looking as nice as possible.

Everything is 3", so if you have 2.5" test pipes, they will bolt up, but the flanges won't match up 100%. This isn't a concern as the gaskets will make sure there isn't a leak. If you have 3" test pipes, everything will match up 100%.

Sounds clip will be available very shortly, I promise!
