I touched it with my finger, and it is very smooth. Maybe the oil does not stick to it long enough to burn on? Another thought after the fact, is

I touched it with my finger, and it is very smooth. Maybe the oil does not stick to it long enough to burn on? Another thought after the fact, is there anyway one of the mounting screws poked down in there while i was taking it off? Its all back together and i can't tell if its possible. I just ran the car for about 30 mins (not driving, it just snowed...) and it seems fine. Sounds smoother than before, and seems to rev a bit faster
