Takeda Short Ram Intake installed, making a weird noise

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. I know you said you checked everything, but I'd double check again one more time just to make sure all the clamps are on

Sounds like a vacuum leak somewhere. I know you said you checked everything, but I'd double check again one more time just to make sure all the clamps are on and where they're supposed to be. Also check the lines that weren't included in the install, but might have gotten bumped loose from the installation, as complicated as you make it sound, something might have been nudged loose just from fighting the intake. But that is not normal. However when revving, it sounds good.

Thanks for the write up. Yes, I always thought it would be the vacuum leak...

Man that is weird... But it sounds like it's coming from the front of the bay, and not the back, which would remove vacuum lines... Maybe check in see if something is rubbing on a belt or something?

Another idea would be (and you're gonna hate this) but completely go back to stock now, and then see if the noise is still there... If it is, you have a problem somewhere with your engine, if it isn't you know it is the intakes...

Then if it isn't there, reinstall everything and see if it comes back. Yes, this is completely labor intensive, but it's the other troubleshooting process I can think of...

When I had my stock intakes on, I had NO PROBLEM at all. It is def Takeda intake. I'm going to drive one more time today, trying to gun the car and see what happens. (haven't had chance to gun it after the installation) If I have to do what you have suggested...awwww I'm going to kill myself lololol

Did you happen to do the soft ECU reset first? (Not that it will help with the sound so much as it's just a good idea to do when you change breathing mods)
