Just received my 2012 370Z... nows it time to look for worthy mods... some exhaust work looks like a great place to start! Will stay a daily driver.. so dont want to go insane..but would, like to kick it up a notch or too! This 2012 seems a bit subdued, if memory serves me, compared to a friends 06 350z. A little volume wouldnt hurt, still be neighborhood friendly.. and add some more performance!

The FI TDX would be an excellent choice and you can control the volume by using the resonators that they offer. The 18" resonators will be your quietest option and non-res will be the loudest. I've had my FI exhaust for about five months now and absolutely love it.

Thanks for the personal feedback!

so.. loud vs quiet. I would like a lil more volume than my stock has but not over the top.. ie neighborhood friendly.

would the 18" resonators you mention as quietest be more quiet than stock.. or still a bit more thrill... or would res-less be a lil louder than stock with out upsetting the elders on the street? Again..daily driver..so...

and thanks!

The 18" resonator option will still be a lot louder than stock. This was the option I chose because I wanted to keep it quieter. My first impressions of it after having it installed was that it was louder than I expected it to be but not in a bad way. It has a great sound to it. If you search on the forum there are some threads where people have posted Youtube videos of the various options.
