Kevin1985912 #90, thank you for the order. People, we are officially 10 away from #100.

As you can see #076 and #077 are being skipped. It is only due to the fact that they both have 18" resonators on order and #078 has 12" resonators on order. Bottom line, I am currently out of all resonators with the exception of 2- 12". My shipment will be in towards the middle of next week and we will be back on track. I just wanted to explain this because I know I will be asked...

BTW- # 091 is pending...

Thank you for taking care of Sanjay on the install. It is good to know that there is a decent install shop in the New York/New Jersey area. I will def. recommend your shop for installs in the future...

Thank you, Tony

Hey it is not me, it is all of you. This is kind of ironic though. We never got this kind of reception with the 350Z however, the G35/37 crowd has always been like this towards us. It has now all come around full circle. It goes to show you how from the 350 to 370 the owners are a way different crowd.

Hey Tony,
Just wanted to let you know that my system has been delivered:ughdance:. I haven't had the chance to unwrap it yet. I will let you know when it gets installed, should be around 6 weeks. I'm waiting for the warm weather, mine is a garage queen during the winter and a track beast in the summer. Thanks again

As soon as you get a chance inspect the parts to make sure that they are not damaged.

Reaper42 02-05-2010 06:18 PM

Hey Tony,

Stopped over at a fellow chicago guy's house who has the 18'' resonators with cf mufflers, and hfc, so got to hear what my exhaust would be like in person.....

OMFG, I cant wait! And you def recommended the perfect setup!

To all potential buys out there. If your on the fence with the system, or dont know which specific set up to go with, try and find someone in your area who has it. Videos do not do this exhaust justice.

m4a1mustang 02-05-2010 06:21 PM

Reaper -- what do you think of the volume level with the HFCs? I'm contemplating them now... lol.

FuszNissan 02-05-2010 06:48 PM

Do it Mustang!

Does x-pipe w/ 18" resonators fit on a G37 also?

Well I havnt heard the exhaust without them on, so I dont know whether its a big enough difference to recommend getting them. Liquid G also had the cf mufflers which I am also told gives the car a more exotic(lambo) sound. All I know was what I heard today was like the best exhaust note I have ever heard on a car that wasnt an old muscle car.

But next week, when I get my res test pipes and the 18'' cbe, I will let you know how much better the test pipes sound over the hfc. Maybe Gene and I can even find some time one day to put our cars side by side in a video to show the pros and cons of each for people trying to decide. :tiphat:

FuszNissan 02-06-2010 07:42 AM

Tony, off the wall question. Some of us that are going Forced Induction, do you think a F.I 3" CF Exhaust would ever be in the works?

It is a very good possibility that a 3" version of our system may be in the works by summer. We already have a 3" Test and Resonated Test Pipe available...

Tony

FuszNissan 02-06-2010 09:47 AM

Nice to know. Thanks Tony! Congrats in the success.

That would be cool. My big worry was excessive noise with HFCs, which is why I decided not to install them at first and sold them to another board member.

But just a couple weeks ago I had forum member ZCarMan drive my car and I got to hear it from the outside, and it wasn't too loud at all, so I was wondering how much of a difference HFCs would make!

FuszNissan 02-06-2010 12:10 PM

Mustang, all I can say is I loved the sound with the HFC's. It was mean and exotic!! I was in my office which is about 60 yards from the service bay, and heard her fire up and all I said to myself was nooo.....it couldn't be.

what happened? it was being serviced? you make it sound like it was being stolen, haha!

Reaper42 02-06-2010 06:22 PM

He is trying to say he was in the office while they were installing the exhaust, and her hear the most beautiful car in the world start up in the distance. and he thought "no, it cant be MY 370z!"

6spd 02-06-2010 07:39 PM

gotcha!

LaSeeno 02-08-2010 06:22 PM

Does the exhaust come with gaskets? Do people even use gaskets any more? I haven't done performance mods in like 5 years.

Do you even need 3" for anything but a TT setup? I belive Stillen said a 2.5" would work just fine.

Our exhaust comes with all of the hardware, gaskets and detailed instructions. All you will need are the tools to do the job.

It will come down to a power level where 2.5" will become restrictive and no longer efficient. In most cases it is around 550 RWH and up.

F.I. Inc. 02-08-2010 09:25 PM

We are getting close to 100,000

eddieconfetti 02-08-2010 09:40 PM

I want this exhaust so badly. I wonder if I can make a credit card just to get this. I have a credit card but its a student card so the limit is low. I do have 500 saved up. 1000 more to go.

FastJew 02-08-2010 09:44 PM

It has been said many times before, but the sound of this exhaust cannot be fully appreciated in the videos. The tone is perfect and with the 18" resonators it is actually much more conservative than I expected. Looks like I'll just have to get the HFC's now for a little more volume.

Advice...but it is worth what you paid:

I imagine I make a LOT more than a student and I'm holding back on the system because it is a toy. I could get it now but I'll get it when everything else is squared away. CC in college killed me because I had to have x. Sorry to "preach" but I made mistakes with want vs. need in school and paid for it later.

The exhaust seems great and I'll get ready for it after my trip to the Caribbean next weak :)

That is what I wanted to hear. So if I stay under 550 to the wheels, I should be good with a TT setup and F.I. TDX (and possibly RTPs). I am glad I made that move now.
