OK so here is an update,

Recently UPS destroyed two full exhaust systems in transit. Obviously I had to make the situation right in a timely fashion. If I waited for UPS to handle it, it would be weeks. It set us back a little and now we are playing catch up. The two customers know who they are and are being taken care of. Two more systems are shipping today along with 2 more shortly to follow. I appreciate everyones patience and I ask you to stay patient. I will continue to give updates as I can...

Thank you, Tony

My wife has a decorating business, she gets furniture delivered to the house all the time. I can't tell you how much of it comes in damaged, whether by UPS or Fedex.

The private carriers usually do a good job, the two big guys, not so good. one thing I can tell you is, ship it as fast as you can afford (I realize this ain't easy with a load of steel pipe)..the less time these monkeys have it in their hands, the better.

As daine' said, absolutley no rattle what so ever. Gotta go and have drive now :driving:.

Also Tony, what a bummer about UPS mate. I'm just glad we got ours delivered in tip/top shape. Hopefully it will get sorted and dosnt have to happen again to you.

Still loving more and more. Also to take a note out of daine's book, SEXUAL it is LOL.

Where do these questions come from? One bonehead doesn't install his exhaust correctly and then his blunder becomes generalized. Stillen catbacks don't have issues with rattling sounds. That one guy's exhaust has a rattling sound because he installed it incorrectly.

Isn't Stillen catback a bolt-on replacement? How can you do that incorrectly?

Actually the Stillen exhaust did have an issue hitting the crossmember for awhile and Stillen even made a revision to fix the issue, which is now not a problem.

DuNw/4BanGerZ 10-20-2009 09:12 PM

Installed my exhaust today! Didint take too long a lil over 1.5 hours total from the time in to the time out of the hobby shop. Im diggin it!

Thats kinda odd, because alot of the early guys had alot of issues...unless every single one of us installed it wrong? Not to mention the amount of rumors that went around about them applying a 'fix'. Who knows what to believe right?

I'm not trying to start anything, I just wanted to chime in because of how strongly you came off on that post. Its a good exhaust - but it had its problems for more than one 'bonehead'.

How's the added power, is there a noticeable difference? Which version did you get?

DuNw/4BanGerZ 10-20-2009 11:24 PM

Honestly i havent really gunned it yet. I got on the freeway earlier and there was a cop infront of me the whole way to my exit. But i can honestly say i do feel the torque more from the get go. I got the 18" res...and the sound is great. you can hear what the Z SHOULD sound like from the outside with the windows down. And me, being all about the honeys, am definately satisfied with the interior sound still being quiet enough to keep the mood right with the ladies.

I see both sides to it. You see this question and you automatically want to defend Stillen. Mainly because you have it on your car with no issues. I feel his question is valid due to the fact that Stillen has had alot of fitment issues in the past. Now at this point it looks like the fitment issues (with the cat back) have been resolved.

Bigger is not always better. The supercharger will need back pressure unlike turbos which need no back pressure but trust me when I tell you this, our exhaust with a supercharger will outperform any other 2.5" cat back on the market.

I would bet the farm on it.

To expand on this a little.. would your high flow cats also work with a s/c setup? or would the test pipes be better? Thinking of someday "maybe" doing an SC.

NewYorkJon34 10-22-2009 05:28 PM

How's it coming along Tony?, I'm getting pretty excited to recieve my exhaust ;)
