It was a pleasure meeting you. I am pleased to hear that you have decided to go with us. As far as the TT kit, was are excited to get the ball rolling in the very early part of next year. We hope to have it released by our car show in the early spring. As soon as you are ready, please do not hesitate to call me...

Thanks, Tony

It is a 6-8 hour job. If you have hand tools, knowledge and jack stands, you can do it yourself. It is not hard, just a little time consuming. Do not get discouraged just take a step back and evaluate the job. Then follow the instructions step by step. Yes, we will have installation instructions with our headers.

Tony, 100% in on a custom set up, I'll watch the board to see when you look ahead of schedule and hit you up! Thinking about running it up high, need to put the car on a rack and see if it would fit.

Thanks man

Got the F.I. CBE and HFC's put on finally. Rainy Day pics doesnt do justice. Also for you guys worried about making the car louder than just the CBE, your just like me, then i put the HFC's on and it made a world of difference. The car sounds sexy.

motoextreme 12-13-2009 11:03 PM

Your car looks great! I'm the guy that just Pm'd you back. Looking for work in NC? Newton too far? :)

Love the black on black, exhaust tops it all off....sweet!

jerkey 12-13-2009 11:14 PM

Thx man, i will get a better shot of the rear of the car so anyone with a black Z can see how good the CarbonFiber Cans look on this car. lol if it was a little brighter today this picture could be a good seller pic for FI, considering i got the license plate cover and the picturesque exhaust smoke and all haha.

F.I. Inc. 12-14-2009 12:10 PM

Jerkey,

The car looks real good man, very impressed!

I just checked the first page and for some reason the videos were not up. It was just showing the code for them. I do not know how long it has been like this or why it was, but I fixed it and the videos are back up.

theDreamer 12-14-2009 03:12 PM

AK recently updated the code for youtube videos, it might have caused a link to break or something.

Thank you, I figured it was recent. BTW, did you get your exhaust yet?

theDreamer 12-14-2009 03:27 PM

Final product has been approved for full production and they are building now, should start shipping in a few weeks.

How did u get that tint on your taillights? I tried and could not do it :(

jerkey 12-16-2009 06:15 AM

The guy i took it to was amazing. He sanded them, then sprayed a coat on some extra tailights that he had so i could tell him how dark I wanted them. Then he laid a few coates to mine. Its that easy. And they look even better in person.

Tony,

Will your CAT back fit a 2010 370Z roadster (Touring, sport Pkg)????

Good question, I would assume so but do not know for sure. As long as nothing is different with the underside of the car, it should fit fine. If you have the ability to take some pictures of the underside, please do so, so I can see what we are working with. Send them to my email listed at the bottom...

Thank you, Tony

V8Kilr #054 your exhaust is on the way. You should of already received a tracking number...

Anyone who wants to help, let me know. :yum:

Liquid_G 12-16-2009 02:17 PM

When you are ready, we will get you setup. I have a few orders pending at the moment but nothing finalized. As of right now, you would be #069.

370Burnz 12-18-2009 04:48 PM

Tony,

FYI, I just drove from SOCAL to Southern Florida with the exhaust and she performed beautifully! Didn't bottom out once over 2700 miles! Great product and news for anyone with concerns about the TDX exhaust sitting too low to the ground. Take it easy!

Cross Country will no scrapes. Good to hear it made it safe and sound. Take care of yourself and let me know if you need anything...

Thanks, Tony

NewYorkJon34 12-19-2009 08:46 PM

Hey Tony, will your high flow cats go on sale after the headers are released?

Darkstar87695 12-19-2009 11:49 PM

Hey Tony, got them installed today! sounds great, it was a pleasure!

DIGItonium 12-21-2009 09:39 AM

What a world of difference HFCs make in regards to exhaust loudness!

I had Berk HFCs and TDX with 12" resonators. The HFCs were swapped out for stock cats, and the exhaust is SOOO much quieter. At first I was afraid I would miss the growl of the exhaust, but all I had to do was give it more gas. The rasp isn't there anymore, and the smooth deep sound FI is known for is still there. :-)

Power-wise, my butt doesn't feel a thing. So, PM me if anyone is interested in taking the Berk HFC off my hands.

Tony, I'm sticking to 12" resonators. Happy Holidays!

motoextreme 12-21-2009 09:43 AM

Hang on...

So your running the FI system and pulled the HF Cats off and it still sounds good?

How much of a power loss can we expect for going back to the stock cat's? Hate to sound like an old man but I wouldnt mind bringing the noise level down a notch or two if its not going to take away too much power.

Second to that, the new LONG headers bypass the high flow cats don't they?

DIGItonium 12-21-2009 09:58 AM

I haven't noticed much of a difference. Plus, I'm not much of a speed demon either. I'm able to listen to music while accelerating, and roughly the same loudness can be achieved if you give it plenty of throttle (no rasp). The drone is much quieter as well. To check to see if I was still hearing my exhaust, I lowered the windows and punched the throttle :)

motoextreme 12-21-2009 10:05 AM

Thank you...I'm pulling mine off. Hope I still have them, sold my stock exhaust but dont recall whether I gave him the Cats or not...oh well.

Appreciate the help
