Mine was delivered yesterday and is loaded up in the trunk of my Z. I'll be doing the install myself after work.

Installed today after work as planned. As everyone has said, the build quality is top notch. The welds are clean and you can tell Fast Intentions works with the highest standards in mind. Everything went without a hitch. Tight as a leather cheerio, no leaks. Tips lined up PERFECTLY and I'm SUPER ANAL with stuff like this. Sounds great during idle, acceleration is badass and highway cruising sounds perfect...No drone really unless you're really under a load but that's to be expected. Here are some pics I took right after the install and before I started her up for the first time.

Thank you Tony! Great product and well worth the wait! Just in time for the nice weather!

Scotober 05-12-2011 04:47 PM

Ordered mine today! 18" SS :happydance:

dev929 05-12-2011 06:04 PM

Ordered my 18 " SS to go along with my berk hfc last week. 8-9 weeks until I get mine. Should be worth the wait with all the reviews Ive been reading!

FL 4Motion 05-12-2011 06:47 PM

got the car dynoed today. with the addition of the CBE and LTH combo, no tune, we netted 30 whp! Very pleased with the results and now we're knocking on the door of 330whp.

Once the shop emails me the graphs, I'll post them up.

Kpyburn 05-12-2011 09:05 PM

Well, after the long wait, G3, LTH and CBE in route to Forged Performance for install on the 24th and do a tune once complete. I'll be glad to finally get this chapter over with, but am also very excited for the results!!!!! Tony has been very courteous and helpful throughout the entire process, and I wish all business owners were this professional.

I have the same mods. Can you have them graph your pull before the tune to see where your AFs are? I'm very interested. Thanks!

Kpyburn 05-16-2011 03:56 PM

Numbers

I'll do my best. Tony advised me to have the items installed, then put a couple hundred miles on it prior to the dyno to allow the computer to adjust. I imagine this would give me a better pull with better numbers, but due to the distance being traveled and time constraints, I don't know if this will be possible. I guess I'll have everything installed, tuned and dyno'd, and might have to return for another dyno down the road.

XwChriswX 05-16-2011 03:58 PM

You also wanna give the exhaust time to break in. The glasspack will settle and you will notice the volume/tone of the exhaust will quiet/deepen to the sex that is F.I. Exhaust.

Can't wait to see the dyno results. :excited:

If you really want to do it right, put on the new exhaust and drive around for a while to break in. Then swap back in the stock exhaust and do three pulls. Swap back to the FI exhaust and do three pulls on the same dyno, same day.

But why go through the expense ... I believe the gains are about 10 WHp for most cat backs on an HR/VHR?

Get to see an FI exhaust in person tomorrow when birdmanx1 gets his installed :woot:

LOL I wasn't in a full WINNING mood because of the weather. It was fun hanging out today man.

In for my informal review of the exhaust Day 1:
The FI exhaust has an excellent fit, finish and quality. The packaging was very well done and the install at the shop was done without any hitch. This exhaust is truly unbelievable in terms of looks and performance. The car sounds very exotic combined with the HFCs and pulls HARD!!! I'm absolutely satisfied over this added mod.

Thanks Tony for being thorough and consistent on the customer service and on your products. You've made yet again another forum member satisfied with your exhaust. Best regards :tiphat:

^^^^^^^How much clearence do you have with the swift drop from the lowest point of the exhaust to the ground? I have a Nimo and am thinking of the same drop. My exhaust is on the way.

I have somewhere around 3.5" of clearance from the lowest part of the exhaust to the ground. Exciting news about your exhaust, you will be amazed the first time you hear yours. Apologies for the numerous pics, you can judge for yourself what the clearance looks like on the pic below :tiphat:

Honestly dropped on K&W V3's, I always end up scratching the front lip before I ever scratch a can. 1" drop all around.
