Definitely an awesome exhaust.

I haven't read this whole thread yet, but by any chance, does anyone know if this exhaust clears when you have H&R springs on?

I apologize for not answering this last week. To the best of my knowledge the H&R springs will drop the car roughly 1" all the way around. Give or take a small amount.

At our lowest point we are 3/8" lower than stock. Ironically our lowest point is in the exact same location of the stock exhaust. Bottom line, it will not be an issue.

If you have any further questions or would like to discuss options, please do not hesitate to call me directly...

Thank you, Tony

So I scraped up one of my Carbon Fiber cans a bit :(. Is there some sort of polish that I could use on it to get out the scratches?

You could maybe go over the scratches with a sharpie so at least they would be black, then rub polish over that...?? :icon08:

Bah, well that sucks. I hate the roads around here, not sure how anyone can get away with lowering their car in the Orlando area.

Honestly if I wreck in those canyons, making sure my exhaust isn't scratched is the least of my worries :ugh2:

I just had mine installed last week. It seems very solid and the tips are not close enough to cause damage to the bumper
Question, do you have any issues or concerns with the gas line closest to the right muffler?
Thanks

Sorry forgot to reply to this. As far as the gas line closest to the right muffler, my installer put some insulation to protect it. I haven't checked it thoroughly but just visual inspection looks ok. I'll probably do a better inspection once it gets warmer.

Tony does this same thing when he installs it. Moves the metal sheeting over to protect some parts, and wraps the rest in reflective insulation. 6k miles later and no issues.

Well kinda bummed! I scrapped my exhaust today going over a stupid speed bump! It wasn't even a big one from what I could tell, but I kinda rolled over it at a slight angle which was not good. I usually CRAWL over them but since this one seemed smaller I just drove over it slowly and at an angle and the cans scrapped a little. Not bad but still some scrapes. Anything that can be done to fix this or just leave it alone? BTW I have a 1" drop on swifts.

You might be able to buff out some of the marks with an abrasive rubbing compound, and maybe smooth it out as long as they aren't too deep.

Vegitto-kun 02-10-2011 05:26 PM
