You can either send it back to me and I can cut them out and put 12's in, or sell your x pipe and buy a new one. That will be the fastest in terms of turnaround time. Or if you are a baller which I know you are, you can have two x pipes so when you get bored you can switch back and forth.

i would like to second that motion, i called fast intentions today and Tony immediately picked up and was very helpful throughout the purchase process.

He helped direct me in the direction that would meet my needs specifically, it is ordering an exhaust a la carte? i think thats the word, it was a great experience at a great price for what is purchased.

Thanks Tony,

looking forward to the exhaust!:driving:

Thank you both for the orders. It was a pleasure to do business with you today. Thank you for starting off the new year strong.

I will update "the list" shortly.

I hope everyone out there had a good new years...

Thanks, Tony

Tony im probably going to send you the exhaust for the upgrades.. we spoke about.... after the 11th because a cop which i knew decided to be a jerk off and give me a ticket for tint. soooo I dont want to not risk having the car with no exhaust for the court date on the 11th.

No problem, just keep me posted. I hope you had a good new years. BTW, good luck with the ticket.

I know the 18" cost more than the 12", can't I just swap with you? What would the cost difference be?

Keep in touch...

Thanks, Tony

what the hell is mother's polish? if its a brand I never saw it here.

and my tip looks hammered what do you mean?

I juuust drove it :roflpuke2:

I guess the reason why they get so dirty is because I don't really do high revving action. track days clean them up nicely but most of the time im just cruising along. hell I remember seeing a HUGE black cloud fly out of the GT-Rs exhaust when I was driving behind it and he floored it.

Mother's is a brand of car care products sold here in the States.

That's not a good thing...
You want to see white smoke.

Nah, probably just carbon burnoff... thats normal..

Vegitto-kun 01-04-2011 01:11 PM

yeah I doubt its anything dangerous just the exhaust getting gritty and dirty from driving around at 1500ish RPM all the time.

Daishi 01-04-2011 01:54 PM

Whether your high rpm or not your exhaust will still eventually turn that color. If you honestly can't find anything to clean it off I'd be willing to purchase some in the states and ship it to you. Who knows how much shipping will be though.

Vegitto-kun 01-04-2011 01:57 PM

well it would be pretty nice if you could do that, better to buy a product you guys use instead of buying several brands to try them out

Ok cool, ya I plan on going with a twin turbo kit in a couple of years, so I won't need the headers, which is the reason I bought the 18" over the 12". So in the mean time I want a more aggressive sounding car.

import111 01-05-2011 06:58 PM

Searched and couldn't find anything. Does anyone have video of F.I. exhaust with no resonators and HFC's?

I found videos with no resonators but stock cats and 18" resonators and catless, but no luck finding HFC + no resonators setup with F.I. exhaust.

I have F.I. catback w/ 12" res., carbon fiber mufflers and Berk HFC's right now. Debating trading someone my 12" res. section for a no res. section.

XwChriswX 01-05-2011 09:17 PM

Tony, what's the turn around time on HFC's from order to install?

Found video. Now I need to know how much heavier the 12" resonator section is than the non-resonated section?

It's nothing thats going to be so drastic as to make it not worthwhile... its basically what kind of a sound do you want. The weight of the exhaust plays little when looking at savings over stock...

If ordered today, they will ship within 1-3 business days.

About 3-4 pounds. The 12" system is 10 pounds lighter than the stock system so this would put you at 13-14 pounds lighter.

Tony

I know this may sound crazy, but have you ever looked into doing your own shorty headers to give Stillens a run for their money, or are the stillen headers the best option for short length ones?

Only reason I ask is cause I'm bouncing around the idea of doing HFC's or not. Since I may be moving sometime in the future (possibly to Cali) CARB exempt headers might not be my friends anymore lol

Would you do a Header for HFC credit hahaha??

Dont get me wrong though, I love the headers, just with life changing situations coming, I have to be realistic lol.

NewYorkJon34 01-06-2011 05:56 PM

Tony Ill be calling you when I get a chance, the 18" resonators sound good, but now I want something more aggresive. I wanted to ask you if I switched to the no resonators version would it sound kinda rice or super aggresive? my friend has the 12" with hfcs, so Id like to try something different. so its either just buy test pipes or just switch to the no resonated x pipe?

It shouldn't have any rasp at all. It will just sound more aggressive and exotic.

I have finally decided to pull the trigger on the FI CBE with 12" resonators, there are tons of options out there for sure. Many that I like as much as the FI system, what sold me on the FI is TONY. This guy blows me away, the level of customer service is second to none. In todays market place customer service seems to be a lost art, keep up the great work Tony you got my vote for sure.

Just wanted to update that I'm on 18k on my exhaust and I'm loving them as much now as when I first got them. :happydance: Absolutely no issues and even when the tips are very very close to the bumper.

Thanks! It's good to know
I just had mine installed last week. It seems very solid and the tips are not close enough to cause damage to the bumper
Question, do you have any issues or concerns with the gas line closest to the right muffler?
Thanks

fonismo 01-14-2011 02:30 PM

How's it going Tony, it's Ulysses. I just wanted to say i've really enjoyed the exhaust since installing it last tuesday. The cbe with the carbon fiber cans and 18" res was trully the way to go. And you were right, the exhaust sounds great and surely loud enough considering i'm using the hfc's. I have to say, I really enjoyed installing the exhaust. It was a perfect fit as everything lined up easy and true. It was probably one of the easiest installs i've done in a long time.

I also wanted to ask you, with the set up I have, do you think I could benefit with a cold air intake? (stillen g3 or injen). I have heard quite a few people say the stock air intake is sufficient and the after market units are a waist of money and only good for increasing intake sound. What's your opinion/experience on cold air intakes for my particular car and set up (nismo 370z)? Thanks Tony,,,,

Thank you for the positive words! Customer service has to be at the top of the list over everything else. It comes first!

If you have any questions or would like to place an order, please do not hesitate to call me directly.

On one final note, I look forward to doing business together real soon...

Thank you, Tony

I have heard quite a few people say the stock air intake is sufficient and the after market units are a waist of money and only good for increasing intake sound. What's your opinion/experience on cold air intakes for my particular car and set up (nismo 370z)? Thanks Tony,,,,

It is nice to hear that you are enjoying it. I am also glad to hear that the install went smooth for you.

As far as the intake suggestion, call me directly and we can discuss your options.

Thanks, Tony

Dealing with Tony was some of the best customer service I have experienced. With all the time taken to reply to emails, I thought it was only fair to reward him with more business and I got the HFC's as well.
Getting close now, cant wait!

Are you making something, Tony?

Tony!! hows it going bro, completely forgot to tell you how the install went because i was so excited i was never home, always out driving. BTW installion went great and the exhaust sounds insane and is plenty loud even without HCF. i went to get my oil changed at the dealership today since i had a free one. As i was rolling up some guy was watching me and when i drove into the service garage he walked in to hear but didnt say anything. Service guy said what kinda exhaust and i said Fast intentions and he said that guy right there is getting exhaust installed on his (guy watching me roll up). Service guy said he spent 2k on a Nismo exhaust. Im sure after it was installed he was like damn what exhaust did that guy have. Sorry for the long post but anyways thanks for everything and keep up the great work over there broski.
