Chop, chop! Get on with it man!

You are moving like you are in the military. Hurry up and wait, to wait some more and then move slow. Then at the end move real fast to get it done with not enough time to complete the job. Tell me that doesn't sound familiar to you.

Seriously though, I hope all is well and look forward to seeing your videos...

Thanks, Tony

I am making a set right now that are going to Australia. They do not bother me they are just very time consuming to build.

I sold them to a shop in Australia. They are going to modify the passenger side to clear the steering shaft.

Hey fellow FI owners, what do you use to clean the tips? Mine are looking a little tarnished and I don't want to use the wrong product. Would stainless steel cleaner work (like the stuff I use on my refridgerator)? Standard chrome cleaner? Lemon Pledge?

I want to keep those bad boys looking like new!

XwChriswX 11-06-2010 03:31 PM

When I was @ F.I. for the install, Tony said to use Windex... :icon14:

I wash the whole canister and tips with the same car wash soap that I use on the car. Then once there dry I use normal car wax to shine them up... Looks sick, try it.

just question on your long tube headers, if you get the headers do they replace the mid pipes or would you need those as well?

The headers bold up to the midpipes, they only remove the stock (short) headers and the cats. The mid-pipes stay the same. So if you keep your stock exhaust, the headers will bolt up to the Y-Pipe. If you get the F.I. or another aftermarket exhaust, they will bolt up to the mid pipes or crosspipes depending...

Here's an undercar shot showing the headers/midpipes.

christian370z 11-07-2010 10:43 PM

Hey Chris, is there any way one can run some cats with the FI headers at all? I was simply amazed at how quiet the FI headers and CBE sounds as I thought it was going to be quite loud, it would be nice to be able to run some cats on there though.

With the design of the headers and whatnot, there is no room for a cat. Maybe maybe you could have a cat designed inside the midpipes but I doubt it. That's why they're for Off Road use only, or if you're like me, in a state that doesn't have emissions tests.

To wash it is just fine. But make sure that you do not spray water directly into the tips.

Stupid question but what would happen if you spray water into the pipes?

It will sit inside the cannisters and slowly rot out the fiberglass filling/rust out the inside of the cans. Basically creating loose material that will sound like rocks inside an aluminium can. I've had it happen before on a lesser quality exhaust. It's not a good sound. Imagine dragging a few coke cans behind your car and thats what it sounds like.

A little bit is okay because it will evaporate off, just don't directly shoot a spray down the pipe...

Correct if you bought our headers and CBE you will have everything from the head of the engine to the back of the exhaust tips! We supply it all!

If ordered tonight your headers and exhaust would ship in 6-8 weeks together. Everything is hand built by us here in house. As of right now I still have alot of systems on order. Here is the good news though. At the time the order is placed all I require is a $200 deposit total. The remaining balance is not charged to you until your parts are boxed and ready to ship. It is the least I can do considering the lead time.

If you are interested please do not hesitate to call me directly at the number below...

Thank you, Tony

Hey tony, Lauren asked me to ask you bout her CBE
She said her shipment date was supposed to be Nov 4 the latest. Up to know she doesn't have any tracking?? :tiphat:

So how much louder is it with the headers? Anybody who has had the CBE and then added the LTH later?

It is def. noticeable but as long as you have the 18" resonators it is not too loud. What they do is help keep the rasp cut down as much as possible. From a performance standpoint it is night and day over the stock cats.

Tony/guys!!

I'm currently on 227. I think Tony about to build mine.
If someone want to replace my number sent me a pm and I need to confirm with Tony if he don't mind. I need to save my money to buy a ring this week for my proposal. Hehehe!! Lol!! I don't know if this is a good place to say such a things!! Lol!! So I don't mind to let other members to take over my place. Just let Tony know and let me know. So nothing trouble later on. Just only my place "227" not my system. I still go on and get my system after my proposal. Thanks guys!! Oh just accept numbers between "235-246" let me know your number and nickname. So I can check it out how long. Whoever sent me pm first. And that will be my priority. Remember just only my place/number not my order from Tony. Hey Tony!! Hope u understand too!! My proposal more important than my system. Sorry bro. And will never ask anything like money or whatever from u guys. Because I still love my order from Tony. But I just need time to save some money from now. Thanks guys!!
