As far as non-resonated goes, I don't think it's obtrusive at all in the cabin, especially when cruising. Here's what I recommend you do: go for the non-resonated to begin with, and if it's too loud then opt for the 12" or 18" (I'm sure it'll be an easy trade with someone on the forum). This way you are better off with knowing how much noise the exhaust will produce without resonators compared to the other way around. Good luck with your decision!

I'd say go the other way around, start quieter and work down from there. It's much easier to trade a resonated pipe to someone for a non-res who thinks the non-res is too loud.

6 to one, half a dozen to another, but I error on the side of quieter first.

Btw, love the angle you were able to get of your exhaust, looks awesome.

Disagree. Most want louder. There are locals to us that will sell the resonated midpipe for pennies on the dollar

Andrew - Until I saw 1325's post I was leaning res, but now I'm curious, hence the request for the video

I've watched a crap ton of videos of the F.I. exhaust, most are res. Would be good to hear something fresh since I'm so close to getting mine.

Royal, I'm going to preface it by saying the video surely wouldn't do justice! I looked at it this way when I was about to order mine--I'm going to be paying top dollar for an exhaust; why would I want it to be suppressed? Sure, it'll vary from person to person as far as what loud is to them, but I can assure you it's nothing obnoxious. It's got refined class to it and it produces indescribable sounds that are sure to impress you and others around.

How long have you had yours? Also any chance to get some in-car/out of car audio?

Because you're in Cali where no one cares...

Back east here, I've noticed more people that go from loud to quieter, and if they want loud they buy that straight up, there's no deliberation.

Huck - Did you compete in the exhaust competition? I watched the whole 40+ min so curious if I heard yours. Do you know who won? I was stuck on about 3-4 cars 2 definitely stood out.
