Cant wait.. 13 weeks and its christmas again for me. Orderd my Non Resonated CBE with carbon fiber cans and resonated test pipes. Great guy talking to Tony on the phone, and super helpful.

Buy some ear plugs for your passengers or better yet no passenger seat for additional weight savings lol.

If that's the case I'm ancient since I got the loudest setup available pretty much and it's not loud enough lol

jofro6 12-22-2012 04:47 PM

Envy, do you have a video of your setup with the non resonated test pipes? Just curious on how loud it really is unresonated completely through

I have 2 on my YouTube account posted. Not the best since they were recorded on my iPhone but one is a start up and some revs. The other is a 1/4 mile run from the cabin and windows up.

YouTube account is same name as on here fpenvy.

showme99 12-22-2012 08:48 PM

Even though you recorded it on your iphone, that startup video is loud as hell!

370Z with fast intentions non res CBE CF and non res TP - YouTube

what is the hissing sound after every rev?
it sounds like metal rattling or an escape of air. Is it the test pipes that cause that noise or the CBE?

That's the VQ 1800rpm hiss.

Dunno if older 35DE's and Revups do it, but the 37's and HR's all do it.

I've got longtubes and mine does the same thing with a stock cat back.

1. Wipe on with a paper or shop towel in a circular motion with some decent pressure, you'll see it start to turn black,
keep applying and wiping till you see shiny metal underneath.
2. If there are any black carbon specs, you can use your fingernail or a toothpick to pick those off,
come back through with one final rub down of polish.
3. Finish with a final wiping with a good microfiber cloth.

Hey Tony, I know it took me awhile to get some decent pics but here's a couple with the exhaust installed. If you like any of them feel free to use them however you see fit :) I'll be getting a buddy of mine take a few shots with his camera one of these days, his camera takes pics alot better than any of mine lol.

Are most people getting their exhaust around the 11-13 week wait? Or have some people gotten them in earlier then expected?

KN21283 01-02-2013 04:04 PM

I think I'm running on 10 weeks now. The estimated ship date is 1/10-1/24. If that helps ya. I can't wait to get it. It feels like when I ordered the car it self hahaha.

InsanO 01-03-2013 12:02 PM

I spoke to Tony yesterday, #641 is due to be shipped on or close enough to the last day of my estimated shipping window - 15/1/2013 - CF with 18" res.

In the mean time, c'monnnn exchange rates :D

Ps. Ordered mine on 9 Oct making est. ship date exactly 14 weeks from order placement.
